POSITION: Big Horn County WIC Educator

LOCATION: Big Horn Center

SALARY: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour DOE; plus benefits

DUTY HOURS: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri, 8:00
a.m. 5:00 p.m.

MAJOR DUTIES: Skilled technical and administrative work
involving program planning, staff oversight as needed, serving
and ensuring breastfeeding promotion and support activities
within the local WIC program. Provides nutritional certifica-
tion, education and counseling for the Special Supplemental
Nutritional Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC).
this employee must meet qualifications as a CLC(or complete
required training to become CLC in the state of Montana
within 12 months)

QUALIFICATIONS: Must possess basic math skills. Good
organizational skills, time management, communication and
demonstrated customer service skills, neat appearance. May
be required to work outside of traditional business hours as
a resident to perform duties on weekends, before 8 a.m., or
after 5 p.m.

PRE-EMPLOYMENT TESTING: The successful applicant
must undergo pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
