We are also a publicly traded company on the NYSE with the ticker symbol KNF and part of the S&P MidCap 400 index.Knife River is looking for dependable Asphalt Paving Crew members to join our team!Job Summary: Performs the duties of asphalt paving in various construction environments.Primary Job duties include:* Shall demonstrate the ability to safely and productively perform asphalt paving operations including operation of pavers, screeds, raking, shoveling and compacting asphalt on parking lots, streets, and highways.* Person shall be able to work safely and follow all company policies.* Person shall be able to establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with all personnel and to perform all duties safely and productively to ensure quality work.* Operators shall have the ability to conduct daily equipment inspections to identify any safety and maintenance issues.Minimum Qualifications:* Applicant must possess the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written form. Applicants must possess a valid driver's license/CDL preferred, and a quality driving record under company policy. Applicant must successfully pass a post offer pre-employment drug test and physical. Prefer 3 years of minimum experience with the defined type of equipment. Ability to operate different types of equipment a plus. Physical Requirements: job requires steady to intermittent and repetitive physical activity including standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, walking on uneven ground, lifting, carrying, pushing, shoveling and raking.
