Information Specialist I

Billings School District 2 is seeking an Information Specialist I for Lincoln Center. Schedule: 12-month position; Monday - Friday; 8 hours per day. Wage: $24.19 per hour for 90-day probationary period, then $26.88 per hour. Benefits: Fully Paid Insurance Year-Round; PERS Retirement; Vacation/Sick Days.

Qualifications:

• College graduate in computer science, appropriate business field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of two years' experience supporting SQL databases in a business environment.
• Special knowledge, skills and abilities in programming, scripting and report writing, as well as data management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to work independently, meet deadlines and establish and maintain effective working relationships with support staff and administrators.
• Able to train staff.
• Experience with web-based application development and support.
