Leasing Manager

This position is responsible for overseeing activities related to coaching leasing team, promoting apartment rentals, move-ins, and leasing promotions. The leasing manager is also responsible for marketing and interacting directly with prospective and current residents to achieve maximum occupancy and ensure client satisfaction.

Essential Functions:

• Listen intently, understand, and show empathy with residents and associates
• Adhere to all leasing responsibilities and procedures, and lead by example
• Facilitate the coordination of leasing promotions with Property Manager
• Conduct daily team meetings to review leads, availability, applications, and delegate daily tasks
• Ensure leases, files, and move-in paperwork is prepared correctly and in a timely manner
• Ensure and audit accurate information on applications
• Assist with phone traffic and scheduling tours
• Delegate the required follow-ups on Rent Dynamics traffic
• Be available to conduct community tours with prospects
• Facilitate the office opening and closing procedures, and ensure they are being completed daily
• Sparkle models daily to ensure they are in perfect touring condition

• Assists with other duties as assigned

Skills and Requirements:

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to others
• Basic level knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with all levels of management effectively and sensitively
• Sensitivity to confidential matters is required
• Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency
• Ability to relay technical concerns with adequate detail, quickly, and accurately
• Capability to read, write, comprehend, and converse in English
• Ability to use general office equipment, such as telephone, fax machine, printer, copier, and key track system
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to cope with and defuse situations involving angry or difficult people
• Must maintain a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and current auto insurance is required
• Must comply with all safety requirements
